EBP Accounting Pro: Backup Impossible Solved

Question

Hello,

I am on W10 and I am using EBP Compta Pro 2016 (OL Technologie).
I just started and I am trying to back up my file. After selecting the items to back up, I get the following error message: "All related applications must be loaded for the backup."

IMHO, you have selected elements for your backup that rely on modules that are not (or not yet) installed.

Perform a default backup and see how it goes..
From time to time, add the configuration and environment if it's available in the "pro" version.

Hello, and sorry for my delayed response, I’ve been “offline” for a while!

What do you mean by “default backup”? Actually, I installed the accounting and tried to do a backup both with the folder + the environment and just with the folder without the environment, and it failed in both cases...

Initially, I had also installed the commercial management (but without creating a folder) which I have now uninstalled. Do you think that could be the cause?

The default backup is the one without the environment.  Have you created a folder (different from the example folder)?

Once again, I'm reacting late, but I must have made a mistake, I don't get notified when there’s a reply to my messages :-(
As for your question, yes, I created a file in accounting (not in management).

The error message may occur when you attempt to save while no folder is open.  Your software is open, but the folder may be closed.  Try "quick save" in the "tools" menu.

If your software is correctly installed and activated, it is preferable to restore a previous backup rather than trying to tinker with the SQL database files.

The software, to be acceptable to the tax administration, must have certain protections to prevent "tinkering" with accounts (in addition to its own protections against intrusion or copying attempts)

If you do not have a backup, IMHO, it might be necessary to retrieve your data in CSV format and import it into the software while respecting the various journals through the import filter.

Since I couldn't make a backup from the start, it's impossible to restore from a backup!
In fact, I didn't tinker with the data; I simply copied the databases to my new computer and attached them to the EBP SQL server. Then, EBP recognized the database, and I was able to work on it without any problem.

Ultimately, I find myself with the same issue as before, since I can't make a backup...

Now, if there's a possibility to export to CSV and then recreate a blank database and import the entries from the CSV file, that might solve my problem. Is that possible?
