Windows 7 64-bit drivers

Hello,

I just rebuilt my 64-bit Windows 7 on a new HP Pro 3300 MT. Hardware acceleration is disabled and I’d like to know if anyone has a solution. I don’t know the graphics card specifications personally, so if someone can indicate a software that does this. Thanks to everyone.

Hello,

you press Start menu, left-click on Run / in the window that opens you type DXDIAG / then OK and you let the green bar go to the top / after that save / and you go back to the desktop and left-click on dxdiag and you have all the information about your PC

Otherwise, by installing a virtual machine with XP on it, wouldn't it be possible to install rather recent games and without problems?

the recent games no longer run under XP, some even a lot, and on Vista and seven there is no problem, yes as I see seven 64bits, but that does not bother in any way some games dating from 98 and that run, you just have to do it in compatibility mode for xp sp2 and it works

I just formatted my HP PRO 3300 MT and I got the message "hardware acceleration is disabled or not supported by the video card driver, which may slow down game performance. Check if the latest video driver is installed and if hardware acceleration is enabled" when I try to launch a WINDOWS game. But when I look around I see it is enabled and the base score is 1.0 for Desktop Experience performance for Windows Aero and for gaming and 3D professional applications. I am on Windows 7 64-bit with a graphics card:
Card name: VGA standard graphics adapter
Manufacturer: (Types of standard displays)
Chip type: Intel(R) Sandybridge Desktop Graphics Chipset Accelerated VGA BIOS
as indicated in the DXDIAG.txt file and I would like to know if there could be another driver I could install to address this problem. I also tend to use software such as CATIA for CAD. Would using it not harm my computer?

if you have a performance index of 1 that isn't good, the driver is not up to date and I don't know the name of your GPU yet, still the OS is 32 or 64 bit

Following your instructions I found in the dxdiag file after Card name: Carte graphique VGA standard isn’t that the name of the graphics card?

no this is not the name of the cg, it must be a chipset of the motherboard named ati radeon or nvidia or other if the PC is not a known brand intel

hi,

if dx diag doesn't give the exact name, ati, nvidia, or intel, it's hard to know the right one, and the motherboard indication? intel or others, otherwise the only solution here:

you download the plugin ma config.com /then run the scan and it will find all the drivers you are missing, just download and install them, then restart the PC so it is taken into account

I’ve already downloaded all the AMD and NVIDIA drivers and it didn’t work. I think it’s because the card itself isn’t from AMD or NVIDIA (novice’s view). In fact, when I tried to install NVIDIA, the software told me it couldn’t find compatible hardware.
