Hello,
I have an LCD screen with a DVI-D port. I also have a DTT (Digital Terrestrial Television) decoder with an HDMI output. With an HDMI/DVI-D cable, I would like to connect my decoder to my LCD screen to get an image. Is this possible? Will I have an image? I don't want to waste my money for nothing.
Thank you in advance
Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 3.6.13

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum.
I don't know if it's okay to revive such old topics, but here I go...
So if there are still people struggling to watch TV from a decoder on a PC screen, here’s the trick:
Check the back of your PC screen for what video outputs you have (like: VGA or DVI ports, etc.).
In general, TV decoders always have an HDMI port....
Buy on a website or in a store an adapter from your screen's output to a female HDMI output and connect your PC screen to your decoder with a male/male HDMI cable. (I think I'm not allowed to advertise on this kind of site, so.....).
You should already see an image on your PC screen.
For sound:
On your decoder, you have 2 female red/white RCA outputs.
You need a red/white RCA male/male cable. (Note: if there's a yellow RCA with your cable, it's not a problem; it's just a video output that we won't use in this case, so just don't connect it!).
Connect your red/white RCA cable from your decoder to an external sound source like: an amplifier, a Hi-Fi system, or home theater, etc... as long as it has 2 female red/white RCA inputs, it’s good!
After all that, you just need to find the right channel with the "input" button on your remote control and you're good to go....
See you later!

But nothing works, I have a black screen on my PC screen...
Yet it is well detected since at the top of my screen it correctly shows the source "D-SUB"
Help! Some forums say it might be due to the Hz or the resolution :/
Hello Kv1313
Thank you for this detailed comment, well done, but
I did not understand the last paragraph of your comment when you say there is nothing more to find the right channel with the "input" button on the remote control
My question is which remote control, the TNT receiver's remote or the PC screen's remote?
Thank you in advance for your response
