"The Sims 2" on PC - The Sonia Gothik Quest

Hello, so I'm going to explain my discomfort. I've been playing the game "The Sims 2" on PC since I was 6 years old (I'm currently 13), and only today did I discover that it is supposedly possible to find our little princess from the game, the famous SONIA GOTHIK! I've read and re-read millions and millions of topics on this subject. And they all say the same thing... many hypotheses about how you need to move the Gothiks to Strangetown and have Sandra paint, play golf, then get taken by aliens. And then, Sonia arrives and you see a video about her life. Also, that Sonia would be in Strangetown (which is certain) and that there’s a fake one named "Sonia Gothik,” so the original name, but who is just a clone to mislead us. And that the real one would be hiding under the name "Kathy Lalouche." And you're going to come out with the story of "She was taken in by the Lalouches and they gave her their mother's name" and blah blah blah! We know all that, we KNOOOOOOW!!! I just want someone to explain to me what the REAL version is to finally find this Sonia, and I want the real, OFFICIAL one! And if in the official version you have to move the family to this or that neighborhood, I would like someone to explain how.

    A lot of false things have been said.
    To summarize:
    There is a Sonia in Montsimpa, but she only exists to fill a gap. That is to say, for her to appear in the family tree, there had to be a file called "Sonia Gothik" in Montsimpa. This Sonia, who is only there to fill this void, has no personality points and the developers gave her a "dead token" (which means she dies if you try to bring her back).
    The "real" Sonia Gothik is in Zarbville. Unfortunately, while translating the game into French, the translators made a mistake and put Kathy Lalouche instead of Sonia Gothik. This Sonia (or Kathy) is the real one if we consider the storyline. However, she has no memories left and cannot retrieve them. This is simply because a Sim from Zarbville cannot have memories of Montsimpa, so the developers invented the story of memory loss to explain this.

    In short, the real Sonia is Kathy Lalouche. You can move her to Montsimpa if you want, but it is impossible to restore her memories or for her to recognize her family (unless you cheat).
