Canon 550d DSLR issue (BUSY message)

Hello,

I have a Canon 550d digital camera with an 18-megapixel sensor and the basic 18-55 lens, and I bought a used 55-200 lens.

So far, everything was fine, but since yesterday, when I take a photo in automatic mode and the flash should trigger itself, a rectangle appears at the top of the screen with BUSY on the left and the flash logo that looks like a lightning bolt on the right.

Also, when I use the video mode to record, I turn the dial to set it to camera mode, and when I start recording, BUSY appears at the bottom of the screen and disappears after 3 or 4 seconds. When I stop recording, BUSY appears in the same place and stays for only 2 seconds before disappearing.

I use a Dan-elec 8GB Class 4 SD card for speed. At first, I used an EMTEC 4GB Class 4 SD card, and there were no issues with either card.

I searched online for help on what BUSY means and what solutions there might be to remove BUSY and whether it is dangerous, but I couldn't find anything. I found some information but no answers that could help me.

I should also mention that I don't know when BUSY appeared on the camera, and I've had the reflex for about a month, and the battery is fully charged.

If someone can shed some light on this, I would appreciate your help, as I had never heard of BUSY until yesterday.

Thank you all.
