Hello,
I have my PC Model: Acer AX3400
It's starting to act up :S
For example, when I turn on my PC, it starts about 1 in 20 times.
I can tell you that when it does start, you hear the little beep that indicates the presence of RAM, while when it doesn't start, there is none.
The power button stays black when it should be blue; Keyboard and Mouse unresponsive.
Best regards
Configuration: Windows 7 / Safari 536.5

Hello,
well, it's the same battle, test the memories, the hard drive, the graphics card, and the power supply...
good luck!

Yes, I have an integrated graphics card and at the power supply level, I tried with another one but the same problem. Moreover, when I try to start it without RAM, it doesn't make the sound indicating that there is no RAM.
Good evening everyone
I have exactly the same problem and have tried all sorts of solutions mentioned above. However, after a few more tests I thought, why not look around the power button, and I stripped the wires at the head of the button (in my opinion, desperate to find the problem, we all look a bit everywhere :) ) and by touching the positive wire on the metallic frame, the computer started. So I assumed there was a ground issue, and indeed, I tested the startup with the motherboard outside the case and surprise, everything worked wonderfully. Then I put an insulator between the metallic case of the computer and the motherboard, then reassembled everything and VICTORY my problem is definitely resolved and it boots wonderfully. I suppose that some Acer models have had a ground fault between the case and the motherboard.
Best regards, fellow internet users.

Hello,
this model seems to have quite a few problems. I am currently repairing one. I would like to get confirmation from the owners of this computer... Do you have a low profile graphics card installed, a Nvidia GeForce 510 with 1Gb in DDR3? Because in the model I am currently repairing, there is this low profile card installed by default (I presume), and another Nvidia 9200 integrated graphics chipset on the motherboard. When I remove the low profile graphics card, I have no startup issues. When I reconnect it, nothing works anymore.
Moreover, what is strange is that the label on the case mentions a GeForce 405... which doesn’t look much like the 510. :-/ If anyone has any additional information... I will keep looking into it.

But yet all the components are working
We need to figure it out!!
You say no power button lights, no beeping, no keyboard ............. I'm willing to believe everything works if and only if the power supply provides power to all the components
Power button failure
Simply a bad connection in the small pushbutton that allows the power supply to exit standby mode.

Where the graphics card connects to an external screen (TV or desktop PC)

I think you didn't understand my problem ^^'
Once in twenty times, everything turns on, monitor, keyboard, mouse, PC
And 19 times out of 20, the central unit turns on but not the screen, and the power button
Quickly lights up then turns off.

Don't you have any overheating???

No overheating, it's cold when I start it
Nico-la: I agree with you too, it could come from anywhere.
I would lean towards the RAM or graphics card, since it can completely turn on sometimes.

If you have multiple RAM sticks, try with just one to see if the problem persists, and test them one by one!
For the graphics card, is it integrated into the motherboard or not???
Do you have a video output on the motherboard???
If it's a video card, remove it and connect your monitor directly to the motherboard, if you have a video output, of course, and give it a try.
You need to isolate your components one by one.

I tried for the RAM sticks; and yes, the graphics card is integrated into the motherboard
that's why I think it's not possible
Thanks, Nico

If the problem comes from the motherboard's graphics card, you can solve it by removing one... however, economically, it might be more interesting to change your motherboard!!!
But I would like to know what it does with another power supply!

I have the same problem.
My computer usually starts fine, but after a certain amount of time, from 5 minutes to an hour or more, the screen turns off, and the power button that should be blue and lit goes off, but the fan is still making noise.
It's very annoying!
Does anyone know how to fix this problem, please?
Thanks in advance.
The AX3400 computer from ASPIRE by Acer is garbage; however, my computer isn't old, and I've taken very good care of it.
And no, it’s not overheating, etc., etc...
