Philips CD 155 Landline Phone "Searching,,,"

Hello,

I have had a Philips CD 155 landline phone for a few years now, and today I noticed that an error message is showing: SEARCH,,
This message is flashing, along with the small antenna at the top right of the screen. It seems to indicate that it is searching for the base.
I would like to emphasize that the battery is fully charged.
Therefore, I don’t know how to solve this problem, which prevents me from making or receiving calls, as when someone tries to call me, I appear as busy.
Thank you in advance for reading this message and for any responses.

Configuration: Windows 7 / Safari 536.5

Hello,

If your problem persists, you can reset the device.
There are two ways to do this:
1/ remove the batteries and unplug the base for a few minutes, then plug everything back in.
2/ Perform a reset of the internal software of the phones, following the instructions on page 36 of the manual (https://download.p4c.philips.com/files/c/cd1552b_37/cd1552b_37_dfu_fra.pdf

It would also be advisable to try your phones on another line (at neighbors', friends', etc.) to see if it might be your line that is having issues.

Of course, the Consumer Service is at your disposal by phone or online (chat & email); for more information on this subject: https://www.philips.fr/c-w/support-home/support-contact-page.html

Best regards,

Hello

You should check your manual if you still have it or here because the error is explained.

Apparently, it would involve reassigning your handset to the base because the link must be broken.

Thank you for your response. I will try to find the manual, where I hope the solution to my problem will be explained in more detail because your link mentions it well but does not explain it. I will keep you updated.

I managed to restore the usual message "HOUSE" with the antenna that no longer blinks. The phone seems to have reconnected to the base, but now I have another problem:
I can no longer make calls, even though the numbers are pre-registered or I dial them myself... No one can reach me either: I no longer appear as busy, it just rings, but nothing happens on the phone, no ringtone. If you or anyone else has the answer. Thank you.

Thank you because it may be useful. However, my problem does not lie in the phone usage measurements; it's something else, and I won't find the answer in the manual. That's why I'm asking you if you know the solution. Otherwise, I will have to call customer service.
When I call someone (whether I dialed the number or took it from the directory), nothing happens, nothing shows up (where the number should appear), and I don't hear a "beep."
Likewise, I cannot receive calls: the caller hears the "beeps," but on my landline, nothing happens or rings.
