Hello,
I’ve been having a problem with the PCI to USB Standard Host Controller driver because in the Device Manager, I have an error icon and the device status shows the following message: "This device cannot start. (Code 10)."
Additionally, when I plug in a USB device, I get a message that says "This device may perform faster."
Do you have any idea how to solve my problem? Thank you in advance.
Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 9.0

I found a solution. Problem completely identical to the beginning of the POST. Asus had not found a solution... Win seven 64
I encountered the problem twice, I formatted the first time as I couldn't find a solution. Then a week later, it happened again after inserting a microSD that turned out to be faulty, and I found an effective solution for me.
Go to the registry
1. Press the Windows logo key + R to open the Run dialog box.
2. Type regedit in the Run dialog box, then press Enter.
3. In the navigation pane, locate and click on the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\
4. Go to {36FC9E60-C465-11CF-8056-444553540000}
5. Delete UpperFilters or LowerFilters (LowerFilters in my case)
6. Restart.
For me, finally saved by this solution. Everything is working perfectly again.
