Hello,

Despite the update, disabling, and a lot of research, my device still doesn't work. My computer no longer recognizes the USB ports... It's quite annoying... Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Try this driver --> Intel
Unzip it
Run the setup.exe

  I don't understand, it seems that the computer "does not have the minimum configuration". It was a Windows 8 that upgraded automatically to Windows 10...I don't know if there's a connection...

Download and install --> 7Zip 64 bits

Right-click on the driver --> Intel(R)_.....zip
Select --> 7Zip
Choose --> extract to "Intel(R)_.....\"

Go to Device Manager.
Right-click on the device
Update driver
Browse my computer ......
Choose from a list of drivers...
Have Disk
Browse
Go to the unzipped driver folder --> Intel(R)_.....
Folder --> drivers
Folder --> win7
Folder --> x64
Select the file --> iusb3xhc.inf and OK.
Restart.

  Rhalala. It seems that it doesn't work (to my great regret).... "The folder you specified does not contain a compatible driver for your device. If the folder contains a driver, please ensure it is designed to work with Windows for x64 processor computers." Maybe you have another trick up your sleeve...?

Intel

Right-click on --> Intel.zip
Select --> 7Zip
Choose --> extract to "Intel\"

Go to Device Manager
Right-click on the device
Update driver
Browse my computer ......
Browse
Select the unzipped driver folder --> Intel
OK, next
Restart.

Perform a system restore and choose a date prior to the issue.

Press Windows + R
Type --> rstrui.exe and OK.

Look at this --> Find a device's identification number
Post the number in your next message.

What's the brand and the exact model number of the PC?

--> Windows 7, 8, or 10?
--> 32 or 64 bits?

  I've been having this problem for a few days. My computer was left inactive (but on) and when I wanted to use my wireless mouse, it wasn't working anymore. At first, I thought it was the batteries, only to quickly realize that even the wired mouse wasn't working and that when restarting the computer, it displayed a peripheral error...
  
  Pfffft.... A virus? It's possible.
  And if I reinstall my OS, is it possible that the problem persists? Some say no, others yes... I don't know what to think anymore. Personally, I would have thought not, but well... I'm not an expert!

  !!! I also installed Norton antivirus on February 13. I think the problem occurred shortly after... maybe when I decided to uninstall Norton...
  I don't know if there's a connection, but any clue could be useful, I guess.
