Hello,

I have been looking for this update for three days, the Packard Bell site is really poorly designed, the references do not match those on the PC. Do you have a solution to find how to update my BIOS, please?

BIOS Properties:

BIOS Type: AMI
BIOS Version: PBCBR00.P23
AGESA Version: 3.1.7.0
System BIOS Date: 05/01/08
Video BIOS Date: 04/29/08

Thank you very much.

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 13.0

    Hello,

The Packard Bell site was much better before for finding drivers and BIOS.

Maybe you should try Packard Bell Updater to see if it offers you something:
    http://global-download.acer.com/FilesDownload/ALU/LiveUpdater.exe

Why do you want to update the BIOS?

Problem, because I have 4 slots for my memory sticks and as soon as I put more than one, the computer doesn't start. I've tried with several memory modules. So I looked on forums and on several of them, people say to update the BIOS. This doesn't help me because I know the risks and I'm a bit unlucky with this stuff... :P

I'll test this tonight, thanks to you destrio5.

The live update doesn't detect anything even when I intentionally uninstall a driver; it doesn't pick anything up.

Have you tried clearing the CMOS?

What reference does AIDA64 give you regarding the motherboard?
