KUBUNTU: Polices saccadées, irrégulières,....

salut, je suis débutant et j'ai installé la Kubuntu 6.10 edgy par défaut. Mon problème, c'est que je trouve les polices par défaut de l'interface KDE vraiment pas très esthétiques: grasses, irrégulières, baveuses et saccadées. Je les ai toutes essayées, et même avec le lissage, en vain. Je regrette bien la belle interface de Xp où les polices sont fines et élégantes.
Pire encore sous Kubuntu, mes textes et mes menus dans les pages internet s'affichent irrégulièrement: interlignes irréguliers, menus cachés et je passe encore d'autres petites choses.
Mon sentiment: fuir Kubuntu et KDE, quelle horrible interface!

Il doit te manquer des xfonts c'est un nom du genre xfonts-75dpi 100dpi etc...), cf ton gestionnaire de paquetage :
apt-cache search font | grep dpi
Pour voir ce qui est installé :dpkg -l | grep font
Pour installer un paquet que tu as trouvé avec le apt-cache search :sudo aptitude install xfont-xxxxxxx-xxdpi
