Hello,

What is the minimum voltage at the LNB connector to make it work?

Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 9.0.1

I don't have a lack of voltage but a voltage drop that doesn't correspond to the switching norm. At the output of the LNB, I go into a TNT SAT amplifier coupler because I am missing channels if I don't use the TNT amplifier. I have a single cable in my installation. TNT antenna and satellite dish ----- TNT amplifier coupler ---------- 3-way splitter and output coupler TV1 connected in reverse, input 2 TNT SAT coupler connected in reverse to TV2.

Good evening, the measurement is done with an ammeter and must be between 150 and 180 mA (decoder + head connected and powered)
The switching voltages of the head: 13-18 volts

    Hello

Thank you for your response, but my issue comes from the 13v 18v switching; over the distance, the voltages at the LNB are lower than normal, and I do not have 18v on the switch. Do you have a solution?
    Best regards

How do you proceed to read a complete absence of voltage? The only reliable way is to disassemble the head and measure on the switching transistors at the input of the head. In the absence of voltage, you have a high value at the output of the switches. If there is no measurable voltage, the LNB is not powered, so you need to check if the connections are correct and that the cable is compliant; otherwise, the LNB is defective. The length of the cable does not change anything.
