LNB Installation 4 Outputs

Question

Hello, so I just received my UNIVERSAL QUATTRO LNB with 4 outputs from the Optex brand (this one normally http://www.optex.fr/...). I want to connect my 3 receivers (one per floor), so far everything is fine. I connect a cable from the first output of the LNB to one of my receivers (TNT SAT) and I get a green signal and everything is good. I then test the second output of the LNB on the same receiver and there is no signal. Is there anything specific I need to do for outputs 2, 3, and 4 of the LNB to make them work?

What is the difference between a quattro and a quad?

Because I went on Conrad and I took this one http://www.conrad.fr/tete_lnb_universelle_quattro_4_sorties_a_52756_53167_844727_225903

It was the cheapest and it doesn’t say that a switch is required.
Plus, I'm getting zero signal with this LNB now :/

nobody said you needed a quattro LNB (reserved for a switch for community SAT and terrestrial micro antenna) but a universal quad LNB (4 outputs) ...

They don't know all the sellers, be careful...., a universal Quad LNB = 4 has nothing to do technically with a Quattro head, also 4!, used only in collective antennas. It is also important to differentiate between a "monobloc quad" universal LNB which is designed for 2 satellites (Astra + Hot-Bird) on 4 outputs or terminals or even on televisions with integrated tuner "DVB-T, C, S", often with a common interface for a possible Viaccess card reader module (subscription packages C+, Canalsat, and Bis TV)

Hi, to use a quattro LNB, you need a multiswitch; without it, it won't work. To adjust a quattro LNB, you need a field meter. First, identify the highest polarity (VH) and point it with that. Then, using the spectrum analyzer, you make a counter polarity adjustment (which means you need to turn the dish counterclockwise). If a multiswitch is used and not all outputs are being used, it's better to put a 75-ohm terminator to avoid any signal loss.
