Hello! Since changing my internet provider, I can't connect to Wi-Fi through my Numéricable router. Using the Ethernet cable, there are no issues, it works. Can you please help me? Hi,
I just switched to Numéricable (modem CBV38Z4) and my Wi-Fi wasn’t working either:
I’m giving you the solution to my problem:

1) Type "http://192.168.0.1"
2) Check the "configure your modem" tab
3) Username: admin
4) Password: password
5) Check the "WIFI" tab
6) Verify the shared key (your network key) and there was a surprise for me...the letters were in lowercase, so I simply changed them to uppercase and then clicked "APPLY".

BINGO, it works, just that and nothing else...

Hi,

I have the same problem as you Phènix 64, no issues with Ethernet but it doesn't work with Wi-Fi. I have the connection that indicates internet access via Wi-Fi, but when I open a page in IE or Firefox, it doesn't work!
Has the problem been resolved for you?

Thank you. It's a hard-coded forced DNS that's causing the issue. Solution: Go to the TCP/IPv4 properties of the wireless network connection, and check "Obtain DNS server addresses automatically." That should work.

For your information, this is the castlenet CBV38Z4 modem/router.
I can access the page 192.168.0.1 via Ethernet, where it states that Wi-Fi is enabled, as well as other information that I don't know how to manage.

I used to have Free, my WiFi worked perfectly everywhere without limits. I switched to Numéricable and it's a huge mess with WiFi, nothing works, I've tried everything, absolutely nothing. I'm advised to call customer service with a premium number costing over 1 euro. I want to go back to Free immediately. Even the Blu-ray player, I have to pay 100 euros, even though it's supposed to be included in the box.

For connectivity, it's fine over Ethernet, but I can't connect via Wi-Fi

Well, the operation apparently went well, there are no more manual adjustments that block everything. However, there is another problem that wasn't there before. Did you make any other adjustments? Otherwise, restart everything, the box and the PC, to see. How is the wifi configured, on the box side, and on the PC side?

It's not working, at least on Wi-Fi!

Here is the message:
