Hello everyone,
this is my first post, I’m taking the plunge!
my configuration is in my profile
I’m using a Livebox Inventel.
I was accessing the Internet via Wi-Fi without any issues until I upgraded my ZoneAlarm firewall to version 6.1. After that, I could no longer connect to the Internet via Wi-Fi. I then uninstalled ZoneAlarm (the Windows firewall is disabled).
Nothing worked, I can no longer connect.
The Wi-Fi connection is diagnosed as "excellent" at 54 mbits/s
the IP configuration seems okay

IP Routing is enabled, but it was the same when it wasn't!
the route print gives this:

So here it is, I’ve searched high and low and everywhere in vain! Everything seems to be as if the application layer is never routed to the transport layer over Wi-Fi or as if, on this Wi-Fi link, there is an invisible firewall blocking my way!
Oh yes! I almost forgot, even though I receive a DHCP configuration without any issues from my Livebox over Wi-Fi, I cannot "ping" the default gateway address 192.168.1.1 while connected via Ethernet cable, I can ping without any problems
Well, I may have been a bit long, please forgive me! So to summarize: Help! I can’t stand having a cable crossing my home sweet home!!
Thank you all for the attention you have given to my troubles.
Best regards
Eric

I had the same issue: Well connected to the local network, but no internet connection via Wi-Fi when I switch to the Livebox.
Actually, having a Netgear DG834G router, I had set the router's address as the DNS server address: 192.168.0.1. It works for my home network, but not outside or when I switch to a Livebox.
I can connect to the Wi-Fi network, but not to the internet.
Why: when you're using another router, its address changes, for example, the Livebox is 192.168.1.1, so if you force the DNS server address, the system can no longer find the DNS server.
I recommend that you check the box to manage the DNS server addresses automatically in the Internet Protocol Properties>General.
As soon as I did that on my laptop, I was able to connect to the internet through the Livebox I was configuring for a friend.
Let me know if it works
See you!

Do you know how to access to check the DNS server as you recommend? I'm also having trouble connecting my iPad to the internet even though my Wi-Fi connection is perfect...
thank you!
I had been pulling my hair out for a few hours...
