Good evening, :)

Following a mini power cut, my computer is no longer working properly,
let me explain:

At startup, my motherboard powers on, but I can't access the BIOS.
Then, a white text on a black background screen appears.
This screen summarizes the components of my computer.

(Notable mentions:
CPU: Intel Core i5 2500K 2.33GHz
Graphic Card: Gainward Nvidia GTX 560 Ti
RAM: ~8000MB
Number of hubs, keyboard, and mouse.)

Finally, it says:
"Data in the EC or EC flash might be corrupted.
Please contact [...]" etc...
Then the computer shuts down.

I would be ready to venerate anyone who helps me out of this bad situation.
(I really want to play... =S)
Thank you in advance for your help, hoping to avoid the €50 for a technician.

(Sorry if I got the category wrong, I was hesitating between Programming and Hardware...)

Additional configuration:

-OS: Windows 7 Premium Edition 64bit
-Motherboard: ASUS P8Z68-V LX

Help me, please.

Hear, hear, good people.
Having received no assistance from this site, too bad,
I did my research and I propose a possible solution.
(In fact, I already knew it but I was, yes I must admit, quite panicked.)

Open your beautiful computer.
Handle it all with care.
Check that you are not prone to being "electro-statically charged".
(To do this, touch a grounded outlet or directly the ground, barefoot.)
Locate your motherboard.
Find the BIOS battery (round battery) or the jumper located near the battery.
If a jumper is present on your motherboard version,
place it in the CCMOS position.
If this jumper was not present, remove the battery for at least one minute, allowing the capacitors to discharge.

This operation should be performed when the PC is powered off, ideally when the power switch is set to Off and no LEDs are lit on the motherboard.

Good luck and goodbye.
