Taskbar in the background ...

Hello,

I admit my title is weird but here is my concern: I would like to make the Windows taskbar unable to "pop out" over a window

In XP, I would set it to auto-hide and uncheck the "keep above other windows" option

So, to avoid an intrusive taskbar, if I want it, I just press the Windows key...

But there’s no way to achieve this on seven: there’s no checkbox for keeping the taskbar above other windows.

Thanks in advance if you have a solution :)

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 11.0

    Hello.

It's very simple, just right-click on an empty area of the taskbar, then -> Properties

Nope, it doesn't work. On XP it did, but not now.

There's no way to make the bar inaccessible when the window is in full screen (which is the purpose of my post...)

But I was wondering if there might be a parameter to adjust in regedit to do what I'm looking for.

You right-click on the taskbar, and you deselect:
    "Lock the taskbar"
