IBIZA Sound speaker PC installation issue

Question

Hello,

I borrowed an amplified Ibiza Sound speaker to host a small party, and I connected it to my computer via a USB cable. The sound isn't coming out of the speaker but is still playing through my computer's speakers. When I plugged it in, it wasn't detected by the computer, so I can't integrate it into my devices.

There's a USB port at the back of the speaker, so I tried it with a USB stick and it works. In my drivers, I don't know how to see the speaker if it isn't automatically detected by the computer.

I need help, please.

Thank you for your response, but I still can't detect the speaker. I would like to specify that I am using Windows 7 and that I did not receive an installation CD with the speaker as it is a loan.

I didn't get an installation CD with the speaker  You don't need a driver for the speakers  Did you select "USB Audio"? -- It's hard to catch a black cat in a dark room, especially when it's not there.

No, I can't find it even with your instructions.

I choose:

- Control Panel
- Hardware and Sound
- In Sound there is: manage audio devices
- In Devices and Printers: there is Device Manager or add a device.

No USB audio in sight.

I also have 2 Ibiza Sound MK 12 AMP USB speakers.

Don't look any further! This is just impossible because the USB port is not designed to connect the speaker to a PC, only for USB drives (even with a smartphone via USB, it doesn't work because drivers are needed and the speaker is unable to do that task!)

To get sound from the PC to the speaker, I recommend either an RCA cable that connects to both inputs on the Ibiza IN or a 6.35 mm or 3.5 mm jack cable with a 3.5 to 6.35 converter plugged into a microphone input.
