Hello, good evening,

I would like to know, as you've seen in the title, how to activate my Webcam (it's built-in, it's a laptop).

I've already tried FN-> F* I've tried all the F*, none of them work. I'm pretty frustrated because it's a brand new computer, and the Webcam has already worked on it. I've explored the control panel a bit and found nothing. I should mention that when I open the software that manages my Webcam (CyberLink YouCam), it "warns" me that no webcam is detected... even though it's built-in!

There you go, if you could help me!

PS: My computer is an HP Pavilion Dv7

PS2: The software also mentions "file import"

PS3: I apologize for the spelling errors.

Hello, maybe you need to install the webcam updates for that, follow these steps:
    • Open Device Manager by pressing the Windows+R keys and then typing
      devmgmt.msc
    • Then look for "Imaging device," double-click it, and you should see the name of your webcam; just double-click on it
    • then a window will open, go to "Driver" and then "Update driver"

Try this, I think the webcam is not installed. See you later :)

Thank you for your advice ;)
I just tried it! The problem is that they tell me my driver is perfect!
      Any other ideas? :/
