Hello,
I recently bought a Trust 17867 wireless mouse and I'm having trouble installing it. I connect the USB port to my computer and it installs the driver, but the mouse doesn't work.
I should mention that the batteries are working fine and there is a connect button underneath the mouse, but it doesn't seem to work.
Additionally, there is no button on the USB port provided with the mouse.
Thank you for your help.

Hi,

If it's this mouse:

According to the description, no driver is needed, so it must be your PC (unless the mouse is defective).

If you have another mouse, plug it in and right-click on "My Computer", properties, "Hardware" tab, device manager.

And check if you have any question marks. I've had issues with all my mice (3) because the SM bus controller wasn't installed and since then, no more problems.

There you go, ++

It is displayed correctly in the device manager and there are no question marks.
I still can't get it to work.
Thank you for your help.

Have you tried a short press on the connect button and see if it works?
And the same with a long press (5 to 10 seconds)?

I think the optic should react by flashing when syncing with the receiver.

Otherwise, try changing the USB port of the receiver.

And if you bought it new, there should be an instruction manual to consult.

And if all else fails, try it on another PC, like a friend's.

I don't know what else to do for now.

I have already tried these methods and they don't work... My mouse is brand new though...
In the user manual, there is nothing written about the installation.
If you find an answer or a tutorial, let me know.
Thank you for your responses!

Bring it back where you bought it, then, it must be defective.
