Hello,
Following my Windows reinstallation, Windows 7 is in English. I searched online and found that it's possible to change the language pack.
But here's the problem: when I try to install the French language pack, I'm told that the French language pack is already installed °°

Hello,
You just need to switch to the French language in the regional and language options of the control panel!

Well, actually I can't. If you could give me the exact directions that would be great, thanks man.

Start / Settings / Control Panel
Regional and Language Options icon
Languages Tab => Details Button
"Default input language" box
If French is already installed, you should find it in the shortlist.

Go to the control panel in the language section and choose French as the default language; normally the language of Windows will change. (You will be able to select French as the language if the pack is really installed.)

There's no details button, I think I've followed your destination correctly.

My explanations apply to XP, and it should slightly differ for you.
Look in the next tab: Keyboards & Languages
