Packard Bell laptop black screen

Question

Hello,    When I start my laptop, the screen remains black even after pressing F8 F11... I tried inserting a DVD: nothing happens. Does anyone have an idea? Thanks.

Not enough information! What type? What configuration? How old?
Do you hear the usual sound of the fan? Is there at least one light on? Do you hear the PC starting? How many beeps?
Is the battery in good condition? Is the power supply plugged in?
Try without the battery. Then without the power supply.
Remove the battery and the power cord. Press the start button for at least 20 seconds to drain the capacitors. Then plug in the power supply and try to start it.

Listen to whether it's dead or half-alive!
How did the breakdown occur? Did it fall to the ground?

I tried with and without the battery and without the cord, I pressed the start button... nothing changes. The PC seems to start (you can hear the fan) the lights come on but that's it.
The PC hasn't fallen and it stopped working after the mouse froze by itself and the screen went black.

It might be a memory stick problem. They are located under a large panel, I believe, underneath, which you remove, with the PC turned off, battery removed, and unplugged. Very small screws.
The left panel is for the hard drive. The right one is for the Wi-Fi card. Check that, though.
There should be two of them. Remove one by unclipping a spring. It will lift up. Take it out carefully. Touch a grounded part of the chassis beforehand.
Restart. If it's still the same, do it again for the other one.

Hello, what model of Packard Bell is it? It's either written in the bottom right corner of the screen or on the label underneath.
Give us everything you find.

It's either a RAM stick (as stated above) or the graphics card that has failed (or the motherboard). Try using an external screen.

The problem is "Black Screen and no OS booting"

Upon powering on, the fan runs briefly (it stops after 5 seconds), the processor heats up a bit and the fan doesn't restart.

We tested changing the RAM sticks around or using one at a time, but it still doesn't work.

Checked the hard drive (without much hope initially), nothing to report, well connected and secured for grounding.

Checked the Wi-Fi card, nothing to report after disassembly and reassembly.

The device is free of dust.

The screen does not turn on; after trying keys F2, F3, F4... nothing happens.

The touch buttons (volume and touchpad lock/unlock) light up when pressed.

The blue power light is on. We tried with and without the battery, with and without the charger, but the same issue persists. The battery status light also illuminates.

No smell, no visible burns.

No sound.

That's everything I believe I've covered regarding my problem.

If someone has a usable idea....

If you think it's a hardware failure, please let me know how to test this possibility.
