Rotate text box in Word 2010

Hello,

I have Word 2010 and I want to rotate a text box and the text inside it at the same time...
I see in all the tutorials that Word 2010 does it automatically :-) But for me, it doesn't work. I must have a wrong setting somewhere, but I can't find it.
I would appreciate a little help.

    Hello,

    The first thing to check: could you be in Compatibility mode, meaning in a document saved in doc format and not docx?
    The rotation of the zdt with the text cannot be done in Compatibility mode.

    Otherwise, check the format of your text box: right-click on the box => format shape
    Text box tab => the option "Do not rotate text" must be unchecked (it is unchecked by default).

      I was in compatibility mode and the "do not rotate text" box was checked.
