How to find printed documents

after entering spool, in the "printer" folder, is it normal that I find no file?

I don't think this is normal: everything may have been emptied from your Printers (or PRINTERS) folder by a utility like CCleaner.
This applies to the procedure detailed in my first link.

As for the other procedure, from the second link, you should at least know the beginning of the file name you're trying to find so that you can point to it in the search results by using the search key *.doc or *.docx
The search procedure is much more detailed and is carried out step by step, but I think it only applies to documents created with Microsoft Word.

If this second procedure yields nothing, then you should consider using other more sophisticated tools like Recuva: if you can use a rewritable USB key, use the portable version whose user guide is described in this CCM tip: How to recover your documents with Recuva (Note: refuse any Toolbar that may be offered to you)

As for the rest, and without further indications from you regarding the "lost" file, unfortunately, I cannot tell you more.
