Sound issue with NESX 778 furniture.

Hello,

I recently purchased a NESX 778 home cinema system.
When I plug it into AUX, it turns on and off continuously and on its own.
What is the problem?
Do you have an explanation?

Thank you for your help.

I have exactly the same problem. I see that on page 18 of the manual, it says that you "can" synchronize the standby with the TV connected via AUX... the problem is that nothing is indicated as to where this option is. I have gone through the menu thoroughly and found nothing. When that damn unit doesn't receive a signal within 10 seconds, it shuts off... even when, for example, the actors in a movie are whispering, to it that's not a sound. I turned the TV's volume up to the max and turned off its own speakers, but nothing works... in short, this product should be avoided like the plague.

Hello Dagnir, I have had the furniture for a little while and it works wonderfully with great sound, simple connection. Here is my review

    Hello,
I bought the same piece of furniture today and I have the same problem, it turns off by itself after a few seconds. I tried turning the TV volume up to the maximum, but that doesn't work.
The TV is also connected to the Freebox, I don't know if the problem could be coming from there.

    Thank you for your help.

Ha! Am I silly! Thank you!
For those who come across this and have the same problem: Turn up the volume on the TV AND the Freebox to the max! Or just the Freebox, that works for me too.

Nothing to do: I checked the connections several times, I looked to see if there was a loose connection, I repeated the process several times and it still doesn't work.
I'm connected to the "AUX" channel and the home cinema works for 10 seconds and then everything turns off. After 2 minutes it turns back on for 10 seconds and then turns off again, and so on.
I don't know what the problem is: apparently several people have the same issue.

Hi, I just bought one. I had the same problem; it’s because you need to turn the volume up to the maximum on your TV or other device, and then it will keep working. Let me know if you succeeded.

Hi joshua45: thanks a lot, your technique works, I was starting to doubt the equipment, thank you so much! But it's still strange that the TV volume has to be turned all the way up for it to work.

      Hello,
      NESX furniture sleep mode procedure:

Connect the furniture to the TV using the RCA cables (red, yellow, white),
change the TV source to the RCA input,
on the furniture go to READING, on the remote press SETUP and in the menu go to SLEEP MODE and set it to OFF.

I did the manipulation and turned it OFF, it still turns off even with the TV sound at maximum,
      Thank you for your help.
