Hello everyone,
Here’s my problem:
I have a PC game that I used last night without any issues, but today when I try to launch it, here’s what it says: The application failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. For more information, please consult the event log... OR USE THE COMMAND LINE TOOL SXSTRACE.EXE.
Well, I obviously asked our friend Google, and I found a bunch of answers saying that I needed to reinstall Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86).
So I did all that and nada, nothing at all.
I installed the C++ 2010, 2005 and still nothing....
Where can I find sxstrace.exe???? I’ve searched everywhere but nothing, neither on the net nor anywhere else. I don’t understand anything...
I haven’t touched the game, it was working and then bam, nothing. The Windows updates were done on 12/30/2011, so I’ve played several times since then, so it’s not that; otherwise I would have experienced this earlier.
Any ideas??

I have the same issues with Samsung Kies (the application: KiesSetup.exe)
I want to install it and this is what Win or I don't know what is presenting to me.
I followed the command line.
But!
I can't hear anything from what the tracing thing is outputting... ^^'
I think I will need help..^^'
