first you can check if the number is a mobile (06 or 07) or a landline (01, 02,...).
IF it's a landline, it already gives you an idea of the location.

But if the person is on the do not call list, hasn't shared their number, or it's a line in a company, then you won't have anything. But always try typing this number into Google; you might come across that person who left an ad on eBay, for example...
