Hello everyone,
So here it is, I have an incomprehensible issue. I just connected my Xbox 360 controller, it's a wireless one connected via USB to the computer (running Windows 7 64 bits) using a Play & Charge kit, it's recognized, the drivers are installed automatically.
Problem: The guide button is blinking indefinitely.
I also installed the complete drivers additionally (from touslesdrivers.com) where normally information appears when you press the guide button, but nothing. However, when manually launching the small "Microsoft Accessories Status" screen, the software works fine, despite the fact that it says connection for the status, except that it does not connect.
Anyway, I don’t understand anything. The controller has been recognized, the drivers installed, it appears in the device manager, but that damn guide button keeps blinking indefinitely as if the controller wasn't recognized.
I want to point out that the battery is also fully charged.
Thank you in advance for your help ^^
Configuration: HP Pavilion dv6700 Notebook PC
config:
AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-60 2.00 GHz
3.00 GB of RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS
Operating system: Windows 7 64 bits
Web browser: Mozilla Firefox

OK, I found out. The Play & Charge kit allows Windows to recognize the controller, install the drivers for the controller, but it doesn't allow you to play with it, just to recharge the battery ¬¬
Basically, you have to shell out more money to Microsoft to buy the wireless receiver to be able to play with it. Because obviously, it couldn't work with USB...
