Flashing BIOS of an HP PC

I had a dv6 in for repair that had a similar issue, but I was able to reinstall and then update the BIOS. It took 6 or 8 tries to boot up, but it eventually started up after insisting!

What happens when you try to access the BIOS?

The computer is new, I used it for two weeks, but the warranty period has expired since I bought it a year ago.
I pressed F11, it shows System recovery at the bottom then it crashes as usual, I pressed F9 it shows change boot and it crashes, I tried to boot from a Windows CD but without success either. When it crashes, it shows the HP logo in the middle of the screen and that's it...
I was told I need to flash the boot system, but I don't know how to do it because it crashes as soon as it starts, I don't have a recovery CD and even if I had one, I can't boot from a CD...

Well, I want to tell you that you are the lucky owner of a computer from a brand that is currently plagued with manufacturing defects! Do a search online to see how many people are affected by these malfunctions.
Not to contradict you, but HP only offers executable BIOS flashes, so if you can't get beyond the logo, it might be very difficult....

Could your issue be coming from your hard drive, which might be nearing the end of its life?

The disk is brand new, and I want to clarify that I only used the PC for two weeks... :/
The PC was left unplugged for more than a year without a power source or battery, could it not be due to the batteries??
