Hello, I'm new to this forum and I hope to find my happiness here

So, two months ago I bought a Packard Bell PC, specifically the IXTREME I7740 FR

I would like to update my BIOS to see if the restriction for overclocking the processor (I7 920 at 2.6GHz), which is blocked by the manufacturer, can be lifted. I just want to increase it to 3.2 or even more, depending on the cooler and the power supply

So, on the PB website, the motherboard is named Bulldog Plus Motherboard, so far so good. After further research, this board may also be named Packard Bell FX58 (which I see when I scan with ma-config.com)

Otherwise, the most important information for the update is the BIOS brand
for my case:

BIOS Type: American Megatrends

BIOS ID: 64-2776-009999-00101111-050609-TYLSBURG

BIOS Signon: 935P8P02

BIOS Date: 20090506

Chipset: Intel 3405 rev 18

Manufacturer: Packard Bell

Product: ixtreme M5730

Base Manufacturer: Packard Bell (as I see with ma-config.com)

Base Product: FX58 (as I see with ma-config.com)

So, if someone can help me find the update, that would be great

++ thanks for the help
Configuration: Windows 7 Internet Explorer 8.0
