Problem launching Nfs The Run

Hello,

I bought Nfs The Run a few days ago, I installed it but when trying to launch the game I receive an error message:

C:\Program Files\Origin Games\Need for Speed The Run.exe is not a valid Win32 application.

I’ve looked into different issues and haven’t found anyone encountering the same problem as me, so I’m asking for your help please :)

      Yes, hello to all the NFS players. I also have a problem with the infamous The Run. I'm currently at 4 days of downloading on ORIGIN and I'm only at 56%. Unthinkable! This is really the first time something like this has happened to me. It makes you think they no longer want to sell games. For my part, from now on, before buying the next game, I will be very careful to ensure they return to the simple setup version; otherwise, I will no longer buy games from them, and I think there will be others who will do the same. Furthermore, they don't even offer a solution after contacting them; they completely don't care.
      So, of course, if anyone knows the solution to get this game running??

    Purchased on Fnac GamePlanet under a Win7 64bit.
    No solution found for the moment.

      EA needs to wake up; we all have different problems with this game. For me, the game crashes while I'm playing.

    So if you look at the game box, the game is compatible only with Windows Vista and Windows 7 :)

    I'm in the same boat, at home it starts but I can't finish a race without the program crashing. Maybe it's because of the CPU being 2.9 instead of 3.0 GHz. Anyway, if anyone has a solution, please help me out.

    Guys, first of all, you need to update the graphics card, and it's better to have an NVIDIA GeForce, but the essential thing is to do the latest update. For those who have an NVIDIA, use this link:

      To run NFS The Run, you need a power supply unit that costs around 600 euros,
      or a graphics card that's powerful enough as per the recommended requirements!
      I bought a NVIDIA 8800 and it costs 125.5 euros second-hand, so good luck, but I launch it, the startup window opens and then closes, and nothing happens at all!
      Can someone please solve this problem? Thanks!
