Hello,

I am currently with Numericable, my phone indicates that I have a message waiting so I have the little red light blinking but it is IMPOSSIBLE to listen to my message... I dialed 3103 which is supposed to be the number for my voicemail but the number is not available..
I tried 888, the Numericable voicemail box number, which tells me that I have no messages..
Yet I have a message from my colleague.. I would like to get rid of this red light that annoys me as well as the display of "1 message waiting" !!! It has been 2 months now...
If anyone has a solution!!!

Thank you in advance

Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 8.0

You haven't understood me: there is an answering machine BUILT INTO YOUR PHONE... you don't need to call a number, but listen to the message with perhaps the blinking button....

Okay great, I managed to remove the light and the meaning of "a message pending" even if I couldn't listen to my message for the moment...
Thank you very much..

But it's not a blinking button... it's a little "dot" that indicates I have a message waiting... Like when you miss a call, the little light blinks...
It will only go away once I've listened to my message..

Hello...

If the phone indicator is flashing, it’s possible that the message is on your PHYSICAL voicemail, the one on your phone, and not on your ISP’s...
On some models, the indicator flashes when there are no messages but the voicemail is on, and on others, it flashes when there’s a voicemail... read the phone's manual itself..
Best regards,
See you later
PS: 3103 is the voicemail of France-Telecom!

I have a Philips CD440 myself with a red light that flashes continuously, yet there are no messages in the voicemail via 888 147 or by pressing the 1 key on the keypad (3103). I’ve tried all the solutions, but I eventually found a solution to stop the red light from flashing; I pressed and held the black button at the top right of the keypad, the one with a black arrow, for several seconds.

So, actually, on my phone when I long-press the 1 (which takes me directly to my voicemail), it shows the number 3103...
But when I do that, it tells me "all lines of your correspondent are busy."
On the Numéricable website, I saw 888, but when I dial that, it says I have no messages.
However, I do have one because my colleague told me she left me a message...
Moreover, it was working perfectly before...
But now I don't understand... On my phone, I adjusted the number for my voicemail, which was registered with the number 3103, and I recorded it with 888...
But it's still impossible to turn off the blinking light or to listen to my message....

But in my opinion, you need to disable one of the two answering machines, if you want to interrogate it anyway, it will cause problems...
Generally speaking, the one from the ISPs is more functional, but still...?!
If your problem is resolved, please remember to mark your post as "resolved"...thanks!
Best regards,
