paper jam without paper?? Solved

Hello, My HP Photosmart 8250 printer is showing me a paper jam message, but I have checked everywhere, and there is no paper stuck. Does anyone have a solution?

It is possible that a detection cell is blocked.

Hello, If the printer has a rear access panel, remove it and check if any paper is jammed.

Hi,

I had the same problem a week ago with my HP. I looked everywhere under the hood. Rollers were fine. No stray bits of paper, all good.

And after a few screws undone and losing some hair, I realized that the rail that allows the cartridges to move sideways was stuck in the middle and wouldn't return to its original position.

So I went all out and forced the cartridge block to go back to its stop. I restarted my printer. Everything reset, and the bug was gone :)
