Hello!
Happy owner of a Canon MP370 printer for 4 years, I have a problem today that prevents the device from functioning at all. After a slight paper jam, the screen started flashing, displaying "Paper jam, press OK." After reading the user manual and ensuring there was no trace of paper left in this damn machine, I still press "OK" and nothing happens. It continues to flash, and nothing works... Help! Marion

A variant of the solution proposed by Bloody
Model: Canon Pixma MP500,
Error: Eject slot - Paper jam

I disconnected the USB plug.
I then removed the paper cassette and opened the front cover (allowing access to the ink cartridge replacement).
There are two covers at the back, one for manual paper insertion, and below the other to access the paper feed rollers (and allow for unjamming).
I opened the latter.

I then took a sheet of paper that I inserted from below (as if it were coming from the cassette) and which then came out at the back cover... then I fed this end of the sheet into the rollers going toward the inside of the printer (there's no need to force it, since all the covers are open) until it could no longer advance... I finally held the sheet by its end near the loading cassette and closed all the covers... neatly so that the sheet wouldn't be crumpled, bent, etc.

I turned the printer on... and it ejected the sheet on its own, releasing the jammed element that I hadn’t been able to see despite all my attempts... a photo...

And finally, it’s working again...

Hello, I'm responding to Marion regarding the paper jam. You just need to blow where the sheets enter (with a small compressor); it's the paper dust that settles on the jam cell. That's how I see it.

I have a Canon MP 600, and for the past few days, the printer has stopped working; it’s showing a paper jam error, and I can’t print anymore. I’ve tried all the techniques from the forum, like troubleshooting, but nothing works. My printer is being stubborn. Please help me; I would be very grateful. I SUCCEEDED!!!!!!! I'm bringing this topic back up because I had the same problem on the same machine. I simply took a sheet and tried to force it in where it needs to go by turning a small wheel that is meant to advance it. Result? After 4 centimeters, I pressed OK and it was good, no more little message, I just pulled the sheet out!!!

Similarly, I continue on the subject, same problem as above but with a Canon MP520 that had a phantom paper jam. I turned off the printer and applied the Bloody procedure and it works again.

Phew! After about two hours of headaches with a MP510, the paper jam issue is resolved! Once we realized there was a hatch at the back of the machine to access the paper tray, we discovered a stuck pen cap! The rear hatch also allows for more delicate removal of the jammed paper.
