Hi,
I would like to know how to disable the memory options in the BIOS, such as caching or shadowing?
Thank you for your response.

Do you know how to access the BIOS? To do this, you need to press F1 when the computer starts up. Try to navigate through the BIOS to see if you can find RAM CACHE ENABLE and set it to DISABLE.

I have a problem...
My computer keeps restarting constantly, sometimes a message appears saying that I need to disable the BIOS memory or any new software
I don't know what to do anymore and it's a real problem because I can't work for more than 10 minutes at a time without it shutting down!
What should I do?

Hello,
I have the same problem as you, I think! I'm trying to format my laptop with a Windows XP CD, but it asks me to disable memory options in the BIOS such as caching or shadowing? Did you find a solution?
Thank you.

Hello, Press F8 or F1 or Del or Supp or <= (delete key)
I went to the Microsoft website, I asked, and indeed I got a response: you need to disable the Cache or Shadowing in the BIOS (the startup of your computer)
And you all need to have RAM Cache Enable set to Disable..
Unfortunately, I have the same issue as you; I'm waiting for the blue screen to note the exact error 0x0000..etc ^^
And try to set it to Disable =D (otaku315, Thursday, November 8, 2007 at 20:46:37) was the first to find the trick ^^'
Bravo!
Hoping it gets fixed for me :S

Hello, I did as you asked me to, except I tried to disable the RAM cache thing, and it's not in the menu. There is only quiet boot, power on display, network boot, F12 boot menu, and D2D recovery...

Go to Run, type msconfig, select selective startup, then go to the startup tab and click disable all, then apply and OK. It will ask you to restart, and you will no longer see this message because this message is due to the installation of a driver or software or programs.
There you go.

I have exactly the same problem... I thought it was due to the GC, I bought a new one, yet the problem still persists.

Software: Windows STOP Error
Title: BAD_POOL_CALLER
Solution
A device, hardware, or service incompatible with the version of Windows is attempting an invalid access to RAM.
If the issue occurs during the upgrade to Windows XP, it is likely due to an incompatible driver, antivirus, or backup software.

Hello, I have the same problem as you, a blue screen displayed a number of times and in two.

The first time it was a graphics card failure which eventually fried (it was under warranty).

The second time it was one of the RAM sticks (manufacturing defect, and they are lifetime guaranteed),

but I will still have to buy a stick while waiting for the repair of the other.

Well apparently, what you all need to do is disable all the caches in your BIOS.
This includes L1, L2.

I have the same problem as you
It could be due to incompatible hardware or a service with the version of Windows
I found that the processor fan is broken, so it overheats. That’s why the PC keeps restarting, just to prevent any damage to your computer.
Due to excessive temperature
So before jumping to other solutions, make sure all hardware is in good condition

if you created your own topic, it would be better

furthermore, if you wrote in better French, it would be more understandable
