Hello,
Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 6.0.2 I'm writing from my netbook!!!!
I accepted the Windows update and the installation of Internet Explorer 9 last night
When I logged out, the computer said
installation update 1 of 38 in progress do not turn off
this morning it was stuck on this screen. So I had to turn it off
then when I turned it back on it said it did not shut down normally
I chose to start Windows, it got stuck
I forced a shutdown
then on the new screen I said to repair
I got a fatal error installation at line 287 on 'installation at line 287 on I don’t remember how many thousands.....X
forced shutdown
I was told to press F5 and choose repair when starting up, I did that and it got stuck on line 288 fatal error C0190005
now it doesn’t even turn back on nothing happens. I press F5 but nothing!!!!!
help

Hello,
F5?
Have you tried F8 on startup?
If it's Windows 7, there is this Microsoft response, but it's in English.
Of course, it may fix the error c0190005 but not the cause of the apparent failure of the update sequence.
In case c0190005 is fixed and you can regain control, I advise you - but I'm not sure it's the best idea - to restore to an earlier date and then apply the updates manually, one by one, and in the correct sequence: check your windows update history and what it suggests.
I can't tell you more since I'm not a specialist.
The Microsoft link: how to fix fatal error C0190005 on startup
Here is the description of the problem which could be a clone of yours!!!
I accidentally turned off my desktop PC because I'm running late for work; I turned it off during a critical update from Windows Update and a Windows 7 Service Pack 1 update. When I turn my computer on during booting, when the Windows 7 logo starts processing below it, an error displays
