In case of a problem, eBay and PayPal work well for refunds, with miniinthebox it's in the pocket for the merchant and nothing for you!!

I ordered a PS3 controller, two cables to charge iPhone cases, and a charger. Everything arrived, with customs fees, but I knew that since it's WRITTEN on the site. So for me, it's a very good site that I recommend.

To avoid customs fees, there's a trick. Just place multiple orders since shipping is free!
1st order: controller
2nd order: cables
3rd order: iPhone cases
4th order: charger
In this case, you will pay significantly less (if not at all) in customs fees.
(Tip: try to place orders of less than €20 each).
PS: I've already placed about thirty orders for a total of around €100 with €0 shipping fees and €0 customs fees.

I ordered 24 LED bulbs for my camper van 15 days ago for 50 Euros (In "camper van specialist" stores, I would have paid at least three times more). I received everything yesterday, with no customs fees, in perfect condition and the goods were as described. After testing, everything works perfectly. For me, no complaints. I will recommend this site.
Good evening, I ordered from Minithe Box on December 26 and received my package a month and a half later. I'm very disappointed with this site, and the products are not very well made, especially the covers for the iPhone 4, which have lots of bubbles in the plastic of the cover and are not very sturdy! Consider this a warning.

The cables are good quality for the price (€3.40), but the headphones arrived broken, and the sound quality is terrible.
I wasn't expecting Hi-Fi knowing full well that it's a Chinese copy, but even for €6.80 it's too expensive, even if they had arrived intact...
3 emails sent in 15 days, no response of course!
Site to avoid in my opinion. You won't have any legal recourse in France, so it's a lottery.
Note for those who complain about customs fees: When you buy online from a store located outside the EU, you're exposing yourself to customs fees. I find it hard to understand that some still ignore this, or is it their first time shopping online...?

As already said, order small items, small amounts to use the standard economic transport mode, and avoid customs fees as much as possible.
Note that under €50 you are exempt from customs duties, but never from VAT.
If nothing is claimed, it's because the package slips through the cracks (given the number of letters / packages that transit).

Hello, despite numerous forums and people questioning the seriousness of this site, I can say that after 14 days, my order arrived, without customs fees (it's only for specific items, which is actually very well explained on the site!) For the modest sum of 9 euros without shipping fees, I received 2 very nice cases for my iPhone 4, the quality is really nice! Nothing to complain about.
Sorry, but this site is not reliable; order placed on 12/26/2012, sent on 12/31/2012 but never received.

When reading the forums, it becomes clear that with prices being very low, the quality is hit or miss, so it's a risk to take. However, one must not count on customer service or user manuals, which are nonexistent except for a lucky few on the forum who received one customer service response and one who got a manual but in Chinese. As for me, I'm still waiting for my response to receive a user manual.
I wanted to order some bulbs on this site, but after reading your messages, I will change sites; this one seems unreliable!

I would put a big caveat; the products sold come without any warranty and are sold "as is." For my part, I bought LED lamps that burned out after a few weeks: no recourse.

Personally, it annoyed me to wait 10-20 working days
So I searched for a week to find out how to contact them
I read tens and tens of comments; some recommend the site for its low prices, others strongly advise against it
because generally speaking, according to their comments, their orders would not arrive at their destination, so is that true?
I don’t doubt what they say, but that said, I asked myself a question: when a person gets tired of waiting, they eventually end up writing what they feel
and thus recount their story, but in all this time passes, and maybe one day they are so happy to receive their order
that they forget their recent comment, they might think about writing it a little later for personal reasons, but with all this time passing
the correction of their comment falls into oblivion and thus will never be made. Consequently, the people who want a response for other orders
think this site is a scam; I will never get my order.

I will continue this account of the Miniinthebox site
But with all this, I have a hypothesis; it might be good to order small things to thus have the right to the insurance at €1. Personally, for big items like the case with support and the universal car mount for the new iPad, the 3rd one, I prefer to buy them in a real supermarket, not online.
What do you think?

I placed an order of over 47 euros, I reside in Algeria, and all the items ordered arrived in very good condition, well packaged, except that some were opened by customs, certainly for verification, plus having chosen the express shipping option, and having tracked my order on the DHL site, they shipped it to me on Monday, and I received it on Thursday of the same week, and I assure you that I did not pay any customs fees. I am tempted by a second order, hoping that it will go as well as the first one.
