Candy Crush closes by itself.

Hello,

I have a problem with my Motorola Razr i (XT890) running Android 4.1.2: when I open the Candy Crush app, it shuts down automatically.

Thank you.

Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 27.0.1453.110

Hello,

For the app that's not working, it's simple.

Either:
1/ You need to update the app or wait for an update of this app.

OR (and most of the time it's 100%)

2/ Your Android/tablet/phone does not have enough capacity to run the app. By "capacity," I am, of course, referring to the graphics card that powers your machine and most of the apps installed on it.

Here, we're not talking about storage space but rather graphic quality. Just like a PC, games need a good graphics card primarily to launch the program and play it without issues. Then comes the disk space, which is needed to play without the game lagging or crashing.

So if your game crashes, it shuts down and returns to the home screen. Don’t look any further: you don’t have good enough graphics quality for your machine to launch the game without issues.

So what to do in these cases?! Either uninstall apps that you don’t use to free up graphic quality, or (the better option) buy another machine of superior quality by asking for advice.

It's Candy Crush Soda that shuts down by itself. The other Saga and Jelly games work.

Hey! If you are connected with Facebook (because if you are, your data is saved), I recommend you uninstall and then reinstall the game

I have a Samsung S3 and I had the same problem; it would shut down on its own for a month and nothing worked.
The problem is version 1.85.0.5, which crashes only on my S3.
My solution was to uninstall it and install version 1.66.0.8, which works very well now. I installed this version via the UPTODOWN site, which gives you the choice of versions.
Don't forget to log in to Facebook to keep your progress; otherwise, you'll start over from level 1.
I hope this helps you?

Well, my dears, doesn't Kings have an interest in messing with us with a virus, because maybe we're not paying enough on the side? I'm starting to get wary of update muses...

For my part, I installed Adobe Flash Player for Android on the tablet, restarted the tablet, and like a miracle, it works!! We'll see over time.

I encountered the same problem on my Lumia, unable to access the next levels as the app would close automatically. Ultimately, a simple update of the app resolved my issue.
Hoping this can help some of you out there ;)

Hello everyone,

Well, my games were crashing regularly. So I reset my phone and in the end, I can't install a single game (version not compatible with the phone).
Thanks to the developers for thinking of those with an old phone...

Same for me on iPad, I'm at level 425 and it's impossible to play, the game shuts down and I lose a life. What to do other than stop playing...

I'm fed up with it too. I play and when I win, it goes back to the home page.

It's becoming annoying these frequent and unexpected interruptions on Candy Crush Saga, and on top of that, we lose a life every time. What are the developers waiting for to fix this or find a solution? Perhaps all the players will quit this game, or is it just a financial issue to lead us to pay sites? If the developers of this game don't know how to solve this problem, they should be honest about it in the media and not leave the players in this situation.

Yes, I also tend to stretch when I start playing. Can you explain to me why, otherwise I should stop playing?

If you work with Facebook, you won't lose lives. You synchronize with Facebook, so you keep your level.

Same for me. When I try to start the game, it crashes. I uninstalled and reinstalled (iPad), but no luck. So that’s it, I’m done playing. However, it works on my iPhone and my PC.... Go figure.
