Hello,
I purchased fans (ebmpapst 8412 N/2GMLE) for a specific need. I will have to cut the original Molex connector and strip the wires.
My question is simple: what does each wire correspond to, knowing that the fan wires are Red, Blue and White.
I know this question has already been asked on several forums BUT it was about wire colors Red, Black, and Yellow, not Red, Blue, and White.
By analogy, I would like to say that:
Red -> Red = +
Black -> Blue = -
Yellow -> White = fan speed
But well... I have no idea and the fan documentation doesn’t say more, so I need your insights.
Thank you in advance for your help.

I read on a forum:
Black-->Blue
Red-->Red
Yellow-->White
So the + and - are red and blue
You should try that. -
I prefer (since the colors are not standard) to check on your motherboard
I think the fan has a small connector that should have a slot (like the processor fan, it has 3 wires)
so on the motherboard there should be the meanings of the connectors
I don't know if I made myself clear. -

hi
be careful not to use 12 volts
because red corresponds to +5 volts
see you
