3-Wire PC Fan Connection

Hello, I bought a PC fan to cool a soldering station that didn't have one. This fan has 3 wires that are the same color (black) and only one has slight gray stripes, so I don't know how to connect it...... thanks for your replies.

Configuration: Android / Chrome 87.0.4280.101

    The one with gray stripes is the mass, there is a +12v wire and a PWM wire to know the speed of the fan (some have a 4th wire to control it)

      Ok thanks, and do you know how to differentiate the 12v wire from the other one and is it important to connect the PWM? Thank you.

        So it's not mandatory to connect the PWM, the +12V wire must be one of the two, so you can connect the wire to one of them and see. Be careful, if the fan doesn't spin, disconnect it and try the other wire.
