Hello,
I want to "empty" my laptop to keep only the data present when I purchased the computer. I used to do it on my old desktop (which ran XP), all I had to do was press F10 at startup (or something, I don't remember) to launch a system reset: everything was wiped and only Windows XP remained (thankfully).
However, I tried to do the same with my laptop (running Windows 7), but it's impossible to proceed in this way at startup. I then looked for another method, but it always involves saving the operating system onto a CD to reinstall it later. (I don't understand why, I find all of this illogical)
Is it possible to reset my laptop without losing the operating system?
Thank you.
Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 5.0
