      That's exactly it.
      To have a chance of finding the driver for the MD 85220 cam, you will need to use the serial number (MSN) (presumably 8 characters) of the model, which is located just below the MD nnnnn on the label stuck to the device or on its box.

    It seems very difficult, if not impossible, to find the software you are requesting from MEDION if it is specific to this MD 85220.

    However, it should be possible to manage if you follow the instructions given by LeDénicheur in this topic:

    (make sure to read well in the first link he provides, what is said on page 79... it seems that this driver is not specific or special: at the bottom of the small blue menu, we can see that it is actually a Samsung).

    Have you found a solution to this problem?
    Installing DVC Media 5.1 is useless because it is not compatible with Windows 7, Medion does not provide drivers for the MEDION 85220, recent or inexpensive laptops do not have an IEEE port, so it is very difficult to connect the camera to the computer, either via USB or DV, since in any case, it is not recognized by Windows.
    Without compatible drivers, is it useful to buy a PCMCIA card?
    Has anyone found a compatible driver?
