error 1053 Solved

Question

Here, I've created a new service that launches Notepad with the SC command:  in cmd: sc create Notepad start= auto binPath= "c:\windows
otepad.exe"  when I start the service with sc start Notepad, I get an error 1053 that says something like "the service did not respond fast enough to the start request...blah blah blah"  please help me

Hello, I have the same issue with my antivirus that doesn’t start on boot, and when I go into the services management of the computer and try to start my antivirus, I get this message 1053.
What should I do because my computer is no longer protected and it's my work tool.

Hi,  it's because notepad.exe is NOT a service. To create a service, you need to create a service-type project.  See you later (if you pass by again.)

Hello,

for everyone who is dealing with the printing spooler issue with error 1053, the only solution is to reinstall SP2 or upgrade to SP3; it works and avoids a complete system reinstall.

Clearing the spooler with the commands net stop spooler and net start spooler is absolutely useless...

After creating a service, you need to restart the computer or server for it to take effect, otherwise it will refuse to launch with message 1053.
