Canon PIXMA MP250 Printer Issue

Hello,

I have a Canon PIXMA MP250 printer for a while (Mac compatible), and it has always been temperamental (rarely prints on the first try...).

However, since I changed the cartridges, it doesn't work at all anymore, and it shows me the same error message that it showed before, but it never works:

"Error number: 311 The printer is in use or an error has occurred. If an error has occurred, eliminate the cause of the error."

Canon's customer support referred me to Apple's support, citing a connection issue, and Apple's support told me to download the drivers.

I have already tried to reinstall them, but nothing works...

Thank you for your help.

Configuration: Mac OS X / Firefox 5.0

The printer must be turned off before starting the procedure. This is important. Then you need to press both buttons at the same time.
When the light turns green, do not release the On/Off button, but only the Stop/Reset button, to immediately press it again twice in a row and then release both buttons. The printer will then enter maintenance mode, and you need to press the Stop/Reset button 4 times to reset the counters and perform the printer reset.
I have already done this on an MP600 (similar procedure); there is no message, no indication, and so you are somewhat working "in the dark," but at one point, you’ll notice a moment where "something is happening." The procedure seems a bit stressful because you do not know if you have successfully synchronized your fingers, but you eventually get the hang of it. Try again.

I'm trying; my printer seems fine then the problem comes back: error P7; plus, I think I no longer have access to OneNote because it was deleted after a cleanup. What complications since Windows 10 and multiple updates!
