Hello,
After a BIOS flash that seemed to go well, upon restarting the PC I get this:
BIOS recovery requested. Starting
BIOS Recovery....
Please insert USB flash disk with
BIOS file.
Checking for USB device... Device found
Searching file ...
Should I put the original BIOS back on the USB stick with which I flashed the BIOS?
P.S. : The motherboard is an MSI G31TM-P35
Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi
the original BIOS isn't necessarily
but a valid BIOS for your motherboard (might as well use the latest version available)

That's exactly what I did; I flashed it with the latest version of the BIOS that I downloaded, and upon restarting, I immediately got this message and I can't do anything else...
'lut,
Please insert usb flash Disk with
bios file.
In my opinion, you need to restart your flashing process, it must have failed somewhere.

Just because you don't like the solution doesn't mean you should rate it -1, it's only when it's useless that you should do so...

Please insert the USB flash drive containing the BIOS file.

In plain terms...
Your flash failed, but this board has a BIOS recovery feature and that's exactly what it's indicating to you.
Normally, a motherboard comes with a CD; check if it contains the BIOS file. If so, copy it to your flash drive and retry the flash.
Once everything is okay, update the BIOS.
P.S.:
I've seen a BIOS that had a bug, maybe that's your case. If there's an MSI forum, just check there to see if you can find any information about this BIOS, etc...

Hello,
I hope you followed a good tutorial to the letter because I don’t know what you plan to do after flashing it unless it’s to overclock it.
To address your problem, normally, you download the BIOS that is specific to your motherboard, you flash the original BIOS, and then install the new BIOS; this will unlock the overclocking capabilities of your components, and don’t forget to increase the frequencies if that’s really what you plan to do.

Once again, you prove that you understand nothing of what you're talking about, you ^^
Flashing the BIOS means writing to an EEPROM, so saying 'flash and then put the new BIOS' doesn't make sense, Romy!
Also, we don't say overclockage, but overclocking, and finally, what you're saying here:
don't forget to raise the frequencies
is ridiculously absurd!
And for the original question, I ask the author: where did you find the BIOS that you're trying to implement?

Listen to me, stop pretending you know what you’re talking about. If you have at least a bit of common sense, then my advice is to stop right now, stop doing the show. Then overclocking, overclocking nonsense, go ahead, I'm listening to you if you’re so smart, Mr. Know-it-all. Because at this point, you’re going to need to lower your dose, and quickly, you see? Thanks in advance!
At first, I thought there were good people here, but let’s just say you’re the kind of person who talks a bit too much at times. Alright, I’ll stop here for you. Good luck with that! ;-)

I'm just telling you the truth, man.
You keep saying nonsense throughout your responses, I'm not going to praise you either.
Have you ever built a computer? Apparently not, I have, and that's what allows me to immediately detect that you don't understand what you're talking about, so try to stick to the topics you know, it's better for everyone.
Aside from that, I'm cool, I'm not here to stress out, but when I see your answers, I don't know whether to laugh or cry... :))))
P.S.: The -1 wasn't from me, so you see, I'm not the only one noticing that your responses are uninteresting...

Listen to me, stop pretending you know what you're talking about, you understood me, if you have at least a little in your head, then one piece of advice: stop it quickly and stop doing the ???what??? Next, overclocking overclocking, go ahead I'm listening to you, if you're so smart Mr. I-know-everything, because you'll need to lower the dose and very quickly, you see, thanks in advance! I say, if you master computing like French, we're not helped ^^
