Bonjour,
j'ai lu sur plusieurs forums et sujets que pour mettre à jour un BIOS avec une disquette de démarrage, il faut le nouveau BIOS en fichier .bin. Or, celui que je télécharge partout, y compris sur le site d'Asus, est un .rom. Ma question est : puis-je utiliser celui-là ? Sinon, dois-je simplement changer l'extension en .bin ? Ou alors, où puis-je trouver le bon BIOS pour une A8R MVP d'Asus ? Merci.

Well, actually, ROM is an extension that works with the EZ flash utility native to the latest generation Asus motherboards. It allows you to change the BIOS by saving it to a floppy disk in the format: NAME-OF-THE-BOARD.ROM. So my A8R MVP BIOS changed in a maximum of 2 minutes: I downloaded the BIOS from asus.com, renamed it to A8R-MVP.ROM, pressed Alt+F2 at POST, and the change happened automatically... magic.
