Hello, when I "log in" to 192.168.1.1 (to open ports), there is
"Username:
Password: "
I type admin then 1234 but the fields clear when I click "log in".

what can I do...
Thanks in advance!
Ps: It doesn't work with admin admin.

Look at your box manual or call your ISP.

    What brand is your box?

Often the password is the same as the WAP/WEP key, have you tried?

    - what kind of box is it?

I assume you have a Zyxel router, because on my Zywall 2 it automatically displays this:
In fact, the login "admin" is only required for SSH and Telnet, because in HTTPS (or HTTP), the interface only asks for the password (since you can't change the username)
So if you type 1234, which is the default password for Zyxel and similar devices, and the page refreshes, it means it's not the correct password.

We need to know the role of the device in your network, as well as the brand/model..

humm... which brand is the router?

try: leave user empty and put admin as the password.
    (For linksys routers)

or it should be written underneath the router - modem/router

Well, if the password written below your router doesn't match, it means it hasn't been reset.

I looked in the manual, but the password doesn't work: 1234.
