I have been finding the homepage "http://search.webplayer.tv/" embedded in Firefox for a few days now, and there’s no way to remove it!!!
Could you help me?? Is it a virus?

You installed WebTV...
Uninstall it and remove the extension (Menu Tools / Add-ons)
and reset the settings (homepage, search, etc) ==> https://www.malekal.com/desinstaller-un-programme-et-extensions-firefox/

Be more careful in the future....
Keep your software up to date, it's important, use this program: /faq/13362-update-your-pc-against-security-vulnerabilities
Absolutely necessary.
Antivirus programs do not cover everything when it comes to your machine's security (updating software, etc.)
The best protection remains knowing the infections to avoid them and having good habits.

Thank you. I just followed the entire protocol but nothing has changed. I no longer had any programs to uninstall or extensions. The search engine doesn't appear in the list and yet it keeps coming back.
