The steps to access cheat codes on PS3 and XBOX 360:
* You need to play with your Sims
* Press Start to bring up the pause menu
* Simultaneously press L1, R1, L2, R2 (if you are playing on PS3) or LT, RT, LB, RB (if you are playing on Xbox 360)
* A dialogue box will appear asking if you want to activate cheat mode.
* Go into build mode, open the catalog, select "buy," and find the llama by going to "Decor," then "Misc Decor."
* You can place it for free!
* Once the llama is on your lot, you can interact with it to access all the cheat codes.

Code to activate cheats, you can do this otherwise: Press start, then simultaneously hold the L1 L2 R1 R2 buttons It should work.

You need to try to do L2R2L1R1 simultaneously several times. I also had trouble at first, but by doing it several times in a row, it eventually worked :)

The steps for cheat codes:
-Play with your Sims for a while,
-Press START,
-Press L1 R2 L2 R1 at the same time,
-Go to Buy>Decor>Miscellaneous Decor,
-There is a FREE Lama,
-Place it in your house and click on it,
