Hello,
I have a problem with my iPhone; when I make a call, there is no sound. I have to use the speakerphone or plug in headphones to hear my interlocutor, which is not very practical.
Do you have a solution to this problem?

I also had this problem and I solved it. Everything was working except for the sound during a call, but the microphone and music sound were working.
Answer found in the forums: jack (earphone) problem, dirt (vacuum it), and/or plug in and unplug the headphones, sometimes play with the speakers and the headphones
In my case, it was a piece of glitter that had fallen onto the mat of the dock module (large mat next to the battery one), I removed it and everything worked again.

I have a recently bought new iPhone 12, but I'm having trouble hearing clearly; I can barely understand what people are saying when they call me, except when I'm using headphones or the speaker! I've tried cleaning the port, turning it off and on, and I can't find a solution in the settings. Thank you for getting back to me.

I suddenly have the same problem on my iPhone that I've had for about 2 years. The bottom of the port looked white to me. I went in with a small appetizer skewer, gently, and easily removed a tiny ball of dust. Everything works again!!
